This puree is
jam-packed with iron and fibre. Chicken is an amazing food for iron and sweet potatoes and carrots are high in
fibre.
Ingredients:
- 1 organic cooked boneless/skinless chicken thigh
- 1 organic sweet potato
- 1 organic carrot
- Plain boiled water (do not use the cooking water as carrots can lead to nitrate exposure)
Directions:
- Prepare the chicken thigh. Click recipe to see how.
- Peel and chop the sweet potato and carrot into small cubes.
- Steam until tender about 20 minutes.
- Once the chicken is ready combine the sweet potato and carrot into the same blender or food processer and puree.
- Slowly add the water and puree until you have reached the desired consistency.
This is nice! I have a friend that would love to try this, she is an organic mommy :)
